Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team at Pholklore, Caloundra. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardised recipes and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipe specifications.

  • Execute cooking, grilling, baking, or frying tasks with precision and efficiency.

  • Cook and plate food items to meet presentation standards.

  • Ensure all food meets quality and portion control standards before being served.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.

  • Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of stock shortages or equipment issues.

  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure efficient and timely food production.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and servers to fulfill customer orders accurately.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety principles, and kitchen equipment operation.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

  • Culinary degree or certification from a culinary school is a plus, but not required.

  • You may be required to work across multiple locations.
