We are excited to announce we have arrived in Lorne, right next to the iconic Lorne Theatre on Mountjoy Parade. Lorne has the same laid-back, communal dining experience that has made our Torquay and Geelong venues local favourites.

  • We are able to cater for most dietary requirements. We have pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options on our menu however if these do not apply to your dietary requirement, have a chat to our team behind the bar who will try their best to assist with dietary and allergy requirements.

    Note: our kitchen team aim to accommodate your specific needs and have measures to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot completely eliminate the risk of allergen exposure.

  • Currently, our venue is not fully wheelchair accessible due to the age and historical nature of the building. The structure presents some challenges that we are actively working to address. We apologise for the inconvenience, and we want you to know that making our venue accessible to everyone is a priority for us as we plan future upgrades.

    In the meantime, we do have outdoor seating available on the sidewalk at the front of the restaurant, which provides a comfortable option for those using wheelchairs. Our team is always here to assist in any way possible to ensure your dining experience is enjoyable.

  • Absolutely! We’re a kid-friendly spot, so bring the whole family along! Our atmosphere is relaxed, and we’ve got high chairs available for your convenience. However, please note that we currently don’t have baby change tables.

  • We love dogs at Pholklore! Dogs are welcome in the outside area on our deck on a leash. They are not permitted inside the venue.

  • We are not a BYO venue. We are a licensed venue with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.

  • We do not have a separate space to host your event in, however we can put aside an area for your event. Contact us via email for more info.

  • We love a party! Cakes are welcome and we do not charge a cake cutting fee. Just speak to our friendly team at the bar when you arrive.

  • A payment processing fee of 1.7% is added to every order placed through the Me&U QR System and 1.8% is added to orders placed at The Bar.

    A 20% fee is added on public holidays.

  • Once you have signed up to our Loyalty Program you will receive an automated email with a voucher code. You simply need to add the beer to your next order via the QR system and pop the voucher code in at the check out.

  • Unfortunately our gift cards are not compatible with our QR code ordering system which is the same system used for online Takeaway. All gift cards need to be used in venue at the Bar.
