Job Summary: Pholklore is looking for an experienced Senior Kitchen Lead to oversee kitchen operations at our Caloundra venue. This is not a traditional Head Chef role. We're not seeking creative autonomy or menu reinvention. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-paced, high-volume kitchens, enjoys working within strong systems, and excels at people leadership. You'll be responsible for learning, implementing, and maintaining Pholklore's established kitchen systems, leading a large team through busy services, and driving consistency, efficiency, and accountability across every shift.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute and uphold existing kitchen systems and standards.

  • Lead, train and manage a high-volume kitchen team.

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, service and compliance.

  • Assist in managing stock, labour support and reporting.

  • Use systems like Restoke and Tanda confidently.


Requirements:

  • Experience in high-volume kitchen leadership roles.

  • Strong people management and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working within structured, system-driven environments.

  • High level of computer literacy and confidence with hospitality software.

  • Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high-volume kitchen leadership roles required.

  • Visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates.
